I need some girl talk!!??!!?

ok like my best friend Sam, and i have been best friends for a long time now, since 6th grade 2 be exact, we have so much in common. . .

at home we both have disabled parents

at school we r the same always getting with guys and cussin and being random

so next year we r going to 10th

were not known as good girls



now here is the problem last night we were on the phone tlkn bout how cool next year is gonna be and omg sophmores and Sam sed i only have 1 prob and i was like okay hit me wit it

Katherine is our main prob

her and sam have been bestfrands since 3rd grade and like she doesn't want sam to hang out wit me

she doesn't want sam to cuss, go on dates, hang out wit othr ppl, or do basically anything she wants to do

So sam and i are trying to find a way to stop being friends with her with out hurting her

bcuz she is kinda nerdy and very sensitive



so can u help me and sam out by telling us how to get rid of old, annoying friends and start out new??I need some girl talk!!??!!?
hey I used to have a similar problem... just stop being with her.. u two hang out, but without her.. make her realize she acts badly... if she realizes that, maybe she will think about changing the way she acts.. if not, she is not worth being friends with... believe me, if u let her limit u and your friend, it will get worse.. just get rid of such ';friends';...I need some girl talk!!??!!?
You don't have to get rid of her, just say

';Hey listen, i know you really care, but this who we are and we are not going to change. i realize that we are different, but you don't see me telling you what to do, right? so please just respect who we are.';



That's a good way to tell her to back off.
You don't have to get rid of old friends just so you don't have a voice of reason telling you not to ';get with guys'; and swear like sailors. Being mean to this girl isn't going to solve anything, and you need to accept that while you and Sam are best friends, Sam and Katherine are also friends. Don't make Sam have to choose between the two of you just because you and Katherine don't agree. That's just stupid.



As we learn in girl scouts as young girls, and I'm not ashamed to admit being a part of that organization for 12 years of my life, ';Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver and the other's gold.'; Both very different, but precious metals nonetheless.



Please, don't become a high school-level b**** and start sabotaging the reputations of others just so you can get what you want. Nobody truly likes those kinds of people. They're too hard to get along with.



Just advise Sam to talk to Katherine and try to clear the air. She needs to state what she wants, and Katherine will accept her and try to support her no matter what, because that's what friends do. Who knows, maybe if you toned it down a little bit and got to know Katherine better, the two of you could be friends too.
