How do i overcome my shyness when it comes to talking to a girl i dont know but i like her and want to talk?

Everytime i start to really like someone at my school even if im really good friends with them i tense up and get really shy and can never talk to them. And when i go to places and see a girl i think is pretty and i want to talk to i cant because i get to shy and im afraid im going to mess up?

How can i get rid of this problem? Help! How do i overcome my shyness when it comes to talking to a girl i dont know but i like her and want to talk?
just think to yourself whats the worstthat could happen. i mean seriously she tells you to get lost. girls love a guy with confidence. dont worry about making an *** out of yourself bc if your too scared to put yourself out there youll never get what you truely wantHow do i overcome my shyness when it comes to talking to a girl i dont know but i like her and want to talk?
you are controlled by your fear. There may have been incidents when you have the girl liked you already but because you're shy or afraid to be rejected, it never happened.

Understand this: Losing and Winning starts in the mind. If you think you will lose, you will lose. If you think like a winner, you will win (whatever happens, for me being a winner is by giving your best). Remember that in whatever you do, there are a minimum of two possibilities. embrace both and be happy that whatever happens, it will work out for your good.

Let me share you this:

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
