How should I start a conversation with a girl at a park, street, or bar. HELP PLEASE?

Ok so I am soo shy at talking to girls that I don't know, so I want to know some ideas how to start a conversation with a pretty lady that I would like to talk to.

Give me some conversation lines if you want to.How should I start a conversation with a girl at a park, street, or bar. HELP PLEASE?
1. Listen. Nothing is more flattering than truly being listened to. A girl will love it when you pick up small details that she mentioned. Slipping in little details is a way she has of telling you something important that she doesn't want to say directly. Pay attention to these details.

2. Ask questions. Use the little details you paid attention to to give you ideas for the questions.

3. Don't be afraid to chime in yourself. Girls like to learn about you, too. Don't interrupt her or derail the conversation, but it's appropriate and recommended to respond to her with something from your own life. For example, if she's talking about a trip she took to Paris, you can respond by telling her how you might like to travel one day.

4. Don't make her feel uncomfortable. Don't make fun of her (unless you're flirting) or say things that will make her feel stupid (eg. ';Why in the world do you think THAT?';) This can lead to awkward pauses in which she'll think ';maybe he isn't that nice of a guy...';

5. Avoid awkward pauses. If you don't know what to say after she finishes talking, don't do the nervous 'heh...heh...heh...'; laugh. This may lead to a long, silent pause, during which she'll pay more attention to her faults.

6. Be interesting. Talk about yourself/your point of view, but for the most part ask her what SHE thinks. But don't go overboard: don't ONLY ask her questions or she'll feel like she's being interrogated or pressured.

7. Do something! That is - if you're at a table or on the bus, ask if she wants to play cards. Similarly, if near an arcade, ask if she wants to play DDR or a racing game! Not only will you both have fun, but you'll also have something to talk about later and remember for the rest of your lives. If you do play a game with her, don't be too competitive. Give her a chance to win but without looking like your doing it. A good way of giving her that chance without faking it, is by practicing your weak skills in that game.

8. *Ask her what activities she's interested in e.g. what sports/films/tv programs; then work conversation and activities around this. For example, if you are both interested in ';Friends'; or ';Family Guy'; on TV then you already have something to make conversation on. Or if she says she likes going to the arcade, you have somewhere to go and make conversation at etc.

9. Try to end the conversation by mentioning a way to keep the relationship going- another time to talk, exchanging numbers or screen names is always a good way to say goodbye.

Just remember, girls are just people, we're nervous too.. =)
