There this girl I like at my school, but I'm a little nervous to talk to her. I'm not shy with talking to girls though. I'm in 9th grade. Any suggestions?How do I start a conversation with a girl I like?
Ok well I'm a year older than you so I think I can help you out there...
Believe it or not girls have the exact same problem they like someone but don't know how to start a conversation.
Start off with asking how she is, she'll be flattered your taking an intrest in her life. Then just ask about basic stuff ask her if she likes a certain band or something, just talk about general stuff find out what you have in common and just build on that.
But if I were you just talk a little at first. Then just talk to her a little more everyday then if you really get to know each other and feel like the time is right ask her out even if she dosn't feel the same she'll be flattered that you like her. And there's no reason why you wouldn't be able to still be friends :)

Find out what her intrerest are or start by talking to her friends and move the converstion to her.
