...nearly a year ago he wanted to talk with me but i went away. U dont know how much i regretting this, but at this time i wasnt interested in him. But now it changes and i think he is still interested in me.

Start out with just small talk. Ask him questions about himself. Ask what he's doing over the summer... or what he's interested in. That way its easy to talk about whatever answers he gives you.
