try msn or instant messagin or facebook..speak to her on that and then you will ecome more confident talking to her..thats how i met my gf anyway..we had a long conversation on fcebook then we caried it on in skwl now we are an item
girls like boys that can be confident in themselves. do not pretend to like something that you really don't. do not pretend at all. voice your true opinions, make comments that you believe in and if she likes you she likes you. if not then find someone else.
Be nice! Compliment her. Talk to her nicely. Like you would with a friend but nicer. Become her friend, get her number, screename, be her friend on facebook. Eventually the realtionship will grow. Also learn about her intrest and take a intrest in what she likes.
research on what tv shows she likes to watch.. then you can start a conversation with that as the subject... then it will eventually come naturally on you...

deep down and girls dont want to admite to it but i do, girls like to be rescued like in the midevil days, i know you cant rent a horse or anything or probley dont want to wear tights.lol.but a girl will start to have feelings for you when you guys hang out for a while so theres no magic words or spells just be you.
Um, DON'T SWEET TALK HER! Just be yourself, (I know that sounds cliche, but it's true). Dude, if she doesn't find you interesting or anything, than you're not meant to be. Try talking to her like you would anyone. Don't waste your time on someone who you can't even talk to like a normal person. You must have chemistry. Bottom line, talk to her like you would any other person. I'm sorry if I'm on a rant, just speaking from the perspective of a woman. =)
don't use pick up lines, girls have figured them out pretty well, and they now seem pretty cheesy. The best thing to do to get someone to like you is to be yourself, don't be fake, there's nothing worse than a guy who has to change himself for a girl.

sense of humor is the key but you could also tell her, in a casual conversation, something like: ';I wish I had a guide to sweet talk girls, especially the ones that I like. What would you do in my place'; then whatever she says do that. I love when a guy asks for my opinion it gives me a chance to be honest with them without feeling confronted and he knows exactly what to do. good luck.
