If you are really good friends with the girl then just tell her and she will either like you or things could get weird for a whil but they will go back to normal. I have had this happen lots of times. More than likely if you have been friends since second grade there is a little more than friendship going on. There is one 'right' person for everybody if she doesn't love you then she isn't the right girl. If she does love you, you have found that one special person in your life and you should keep that in mind and don't let her get away.What is a way to smooth-talk a girl you've had your eye on since second grade because she's so beautiful?

It is hard but you deserve to know if there is a chance. If not and she does not like you that way you may miss your true soul mate. But if you don't tell her you will never find out if she is your soul-mate. You need to know one way or the other.
