Need advice on how to talk to this girl!?

so theres this girl whose friends with one of my friends. we never really met but ive seen her before and want to get to know her. this friday were going bowling with a group of people and this girls going to be there. i want to talk to her and get to know her but i always freeze up when i want to talk to girls and kind of shy away from girls i want to talk to especially if all the guys are talking to her i get intimidated. im a good looking kid according to people and they say i shouldnt get intimidated but either way it still happens. ive always been shy around girls and just never know what to say when i talk to them for whatever reason. im not looking to go up to the girl and say i like you and lets go out i just want to get to know her and see where it goes from there but i dont know how to talk to girls =/Need advice on how to talk to this girl!?
okay from experience on self conscious guys i woudl know that the #1 turn off is an unconfident guy... what makes me like someone is if they are confident and carry themselves well. I'm sure that you are a good looking kid like you say you are, so what you need to do is just be funny and talk to her like you would any other person. Forget that she is a girl (to an extent) but be flirtatious and have fun because thats what really is going to lead her out of the friend zone.
