I can't talk to the girl I like at school?

We're both on the track team. There's a lot of people in this close group, maybe like 60 (half girls half guys). The guys hang out with the guys at practice, and girls with girls (for the most part). Once in a while a guy who is good with talking to girls will talk to the girls team.



I'm not one of those guys. I talk to this girl I like once in a while, pretty much only if we're alone. In groups though, she's always in a big group of girls so I can't talk to her. I don't see her during school, only during practice.



She's not that easy to talk to either, as in she won't keep a conversation going. So, on top of having very little opportunity to talk to her, she talks to too many other people to actually have time to carry on a decent conversation with me.



I really like her and want to talk to her. But how can I?I can't talk to the girl I like at school?
I know it is nerve wracking, but think of the positives that the first move could lead to versus the negatives. And most girls appreciate guys that make the first move.



Talk to her by saying ';So, how's your day?'; or ';How's life with you?'; and then that way you can delve into personal topics rather than just school topics. As for real life, just go up to her and say ';Hey! What's up?'; Even saying that could be the start of something amazing.

And what's the worst that she could say? No? What human being says no to another saying hello? LOL



She'll then repsond back with ';Oh, blah blah blah,'; and you can keep the conversation that way, or she'll say ';Oh, nothing.'; And then you can throw in a compliment. Make sure to smile when you're complimenting her, so that she knows it's genuine.



But anyway, then just keep the conversation going from there. Ask her questions that don't have a yes or no answer, because that'll keep her talking to you. Like ';So how's your day?'; and stuff like that. She'll think you're nice and sweet. And you'll definitely have her attention. =]



You want to get to know her, don't you? Then you should talk about school, TV shows, music, life, etc. Just talk to her like you would with any other person. Good luck and I'm sure you'll do great! =]



And then you can ask her out! Just say like ';Hey! I've seen you around a lot, and I was wondering if you wanted to go out sometime?'; If she says no, then just play it off by saying ';Oh, okay. I was just wondering if some people wanted to go out to the movies with me. No big deal.'; Smile and walk off.



If she says yes, then great! Think of the positives outweighing the negatives. And really the only way to know for sure is by straight asking out. Good luck and I'm sure you'll do fine! =]I can't talk to the girl I like at school?
find a reason to talk to her. like ask her for help on homework or something where she has to meet up with you and you alone. then find something good to talk to her about! then see where it goes from there :)
Well is it just only her that is hard for you to talk to? Just emagine in your mind she is just friend n that will help you.. Ask her how her day was or why she decided to be on the track team or what are her plans for the summer.. Ask her a question that could have alot of answers so it keeps the conversation goin for a while and make it a comfertable question that wouldnt be akward for any of you and would be easy for u to talk about to.. Ask her a question and then look at the time and be like upps i forgot bablabla n make something up but ask her a question that u think she would be really eager to answer and if she stops u to tell u then shes interested but if shes just like umm ok then shes not to interested in talking to u..... dont just hide your feelings.
