Hi. I am pretty shy with girls, so I was wondering how I can build my confidence when I go up to a girl and also how to talk to a girl/things to say when you go up to a girl and want to talk to her.How to be confident when you want to talk to a girl?

Okay, I grew up in a all-woman household (mom, aunt, and their mom.) I would hardly even talk to boys until 10th grade. Somehow going to an all-girls school gave me the confidence to talk to boys (they told us it would.) The main thing you have to remember (this was hard for me, but it should be easier for a guy talking to a girl because we're more willing to talk to you about guy-ish stuff than you are to us about girly stuff) is that talking to a guy is no different than talking to a girl. Don't talk about gross stuff or stuff you'd only do with your guy friends, because most girls don't like that, but you can talk to us about 80% of the stuff you talk to guy friends about. There's no set list of stuff you can/can't talk to us about. You should probably start with the more tomboyish girls, and if she's in a conversation about something you know something about, put your two cents in or ask a question.

There are a couple of girls that finds me interesting. How do I get to know them without making them feeling stalked?
